With two years of Healing Place School of Ministry behind me, a new season of life is beginning for me. I'm transitioning. I'm growing. I'm learning to really discern the voice of God. AND......I'M MOVING TO PERU IN JANUARY! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???
Healing Place Church is sending me to Camino de Vida in Lima, Peru to help them start an internship program there. I couldn't be more thrilled! There's nothing I love more than to see the plan of God for your life unfold before you and to understand how He's been preparing you for what is to come all along. It is an honor to me that CDV would have me and that my beloved HPC family and friends would send me.
So far, this is what I know:
- I will leave in late January and come back in December.
- I will be living in a host home. A family from CDV is going to be kind enough to let me live with them for a year.
- I will be there as a missionary. The staff at CDV who are from the United States do not get paid from the tithe. They are there to serve the people as missionaries. I will be there specifically as a missionary to help invest in the future generation of leaders at CDV.
- I will be serving at our Spainsh Campus in St. Amant until January to get acquainted with the language and the culture.
- PRAY. You can join me in praying that God has his way in every single detail of this journey. I really need some prayer partners.
- GIVE. I will be raising support for the entire year for the remainder of the time that I am here in the United States. I need people who would like to partner with me financially or give a donation. BUT, I also need people who can just help me actually put on the fundraisers and come up with new ideas.
Thank you all in advance for all of the prayers I know you will pray, all of the encouraging words you will offer, and all of support you will lend. It means the world to me, and I pray that God will bless you for being so generous and loving!
