Here is an experiment gone WRONG!
After being under intern rules for two years, I'm a bit afraid to get a tattoo. Instead, we decided to play around with temporary tatoo inks, and put this tribal design on my arm. Word to the wise, jagua doesn't work, and NEVER put henna on top of it. Because the jagua wasn't turning black like it was supposed to, I decided to go over it with henna. BAD IDEA! The henna did not take on my skin because of the jagua. It got all blotchy and kind of peeled off. After four different scrubbing sessions, this is what I was left with. Unfortunately, it will be like this for at least a week. UGH....win some lose some I guess. HAHA!The good news is, the henna paste does really work and it is very pretty. (We tried just henna on my neice.) So if you want to play around with temporary tattoos or try out a tattoo before you actually get the real deal, use henna NOT jagua!
